September Tango Classes with Sharon!

September 13, 20 & 27. 11am - 1:45pm

A special set of Argentine Tango classes for followers and leaders on 3 Saturday afternoons in September. These classes are for both women and men All levels including novice & seasoned dancers will benefit from learning these techniques used by my favorite leaders and followers.

FOLLOWERS: 11am-12:15pm

*Balance and grounding to create elegant movement

*How to have a free leg and listen to your leader

*Embellishments & using the space provided by your leader for embellishments

LEADERS:12:30pm-1:45pm

*Balance and grounding (connection with yourself and the floor)

*Listening with the intention to create clear conversation on the dance floor

*Creating space for your partner

Held at Sharon's Grand Hall Studio 14810 N 9th St. Phoenix

Pricing: Prepay $60 for 3 classes Prepay $90 for 6 classes Individual class $25

I love to dance and teach dance. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to add pleasure to people’s lives through teaching partner dance. I try to create a low pressure, fun learning environment focusing on technique for all levels of dancers in my classes. Dance is constantly evolving. It's important to me to not only stay a student but to also work on improving my teaching skills.

My Argentine tango journey started in Massachusetts where I had the opportunity to learn from excellent teachers both locally and internationally. Returning to my hometown of Phoenix 10 years ago I have tried to build community and keep tango growing in the valley.

I have been a DJ for milongas (tango dances) for over 10 years. Sharing the history and music, and the beauty and passion of Argentine tango has brought me immeasurable joy.
