I love to dance and teach dance. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to add pleasure to people’s lives through teaching partner (West coast and east coast swing) dance for over 30 years.
My Argentine tango journey started in Massachusetts where I had the opportunity to learn from excellent teachers both locally and internationally. Returning to my hometown of Phoenix over 10 years ago I strive to build community and keep tango growing in the valley.
Creating a low pressure, fun learning environment focusing on technique for all levels of dancers in my classes is my priority.
Dance is constantly evolving so it is important to me to not only stay a student but to also work on improving my teaching skills.
I HIGHLY recommend taking privates or affordable shared privates with me so I can help you quickly improve your tango.
I learned to love the Golden Age (1930s to 1950s) music from Argentine orchestras that are a staple for milongas (tango dances) and have been a DJ for over 10 years.
Sharing the history and music, and the beauty and passion of Argentine tango has brought me immeasurable joy.
